Tekir’s team grows with four new communications professionals experienced in versatile communications and change situations

Communications agency Tekir’s autumn starts with happy personnel news, as the company strengthens its team of experts by appointing four new professionals. The growth provides our customers even stronger expertise in financial and investor communications as well as demanding management and change situations.

Experienced communications professional Lilli Riikonen (M.Soc.Sc.) has started as a Principal Consultant responsible for financial and investor communications. Lilli knows the requirements and practical execution of investor communications thoroughly, and she has operated both IPO and transactional communications.

“I am excited to be able to work together with the best professionals in communications and reputation management. The fact that Tekir offers versatile expertise in, among other things, crisis communications, sustainability, media relations, organizational communication and marketing is also a strength from the point of view of our investor communications clients – impressive and credible investor communications isn’t separated from other communications. Every message a company sends out, builds its reputation in the eyes of investors, as the conversation between capital markets, the media, customers, employees, and the public has become even closer.”

Antti Miettinen (M.Sc.), who has gained merit in demanding management and change situations e.g., at Nokia and Finnair, has started as a Principal Consultant in management and change communications. Antti brings strong expertise in implementing change programs in international companies, in sparring with top management, and utilizing data and artificial intelligence in anticipating communication needs.

“I am excited that as part of Tekir’s strengthening team, I can help organizations and leaders to succeed more broadly than before in change situations, management communication, presentation and storytelling skills, internal communication and various culture-related projects, such as DEIB themes (diversity, equity, inclusion and belonging), ” says Antti.

“Management and change communication has a main role in the story of any organization. There is a special need for good communication and strong trust between management and staff now that the war in Ukraine, inflation and recession speculations are creating uncertainty.”

Corporate communications professional Sini Nelimarkka (M.Soc.Sc.) has started as a Consultant in financial and investor communications. She joins Tekir from Stora Enso, where she has worked in various financial and corporate communications positions.

“I am happy to join Tekir’s group of professionals. I bring insight and experience in particularly demanding, global business communications. It’s exciting to change the perspective to the other side of the table in the role of a consultant, and I look forward to being able to support Tekir’s customers in achieving their goals with my expertise.”

Irina Diepmaat (digital communication, UAS) joins Tekir’s team as a Communication Specialist. Prior to Tekir Irina has worked at the Finnish Border Guard, where she has been responsible for e.g., communications planning, accessibility, and content development.
