Tapani Mäkinen is an expert in journalism and strategic communication.  

Tapani combines a strong journalistic background with strategic communications consulting. He has had a long journalistic career, primarily in economic and political editorials, in print media and television, as a reporter and in editorial management positions.

Journalism changed to communication consulting more than ten years ago. Tapani has consulted both business management and national organizations, e.g. in strategic communications and reputation management. 

Tapani has a master’s degree in political science from the University of Turku.
